Hi, I am Mandy Tjart.
Ever since I was 12 years old, from the moment I wanted to follow in my fathers foot steps and take photos, my parents made sure there was a camera in my hand - they supplied the tool and it was really up to me to use it. And I did!
I was the kid who brought her camera to school every week and did chores to afford more film.
I was the teenager who brought my camera to parties.
I was the woman who'd go on adventures around my home and in nature, taking photos of all that beauty that surrounds us daily.
I was the mom who would take photos of my kids in the garden and at the farmers market.
I was the woman who was scared to label herself as a "professional" because I didn't know the ins and outs of my camera - I just knew how to capture beauty when it spoke to me.
So I got to work. I got a new camera and started learning, watching videos online and played around with different modes during a variety of weather, scenery, and times of the day. I worked with different models and experienced a lot of new things.
I soon realized that it's not about knowing what the professionals know, (that comes naturally with experience) it's about trusting in the abilities you already have, following what lights you up, and being willing to try new things.
I started putting myself out there in February of 2021 and have worked with hundreds of amazing, heart-centered clients since, capturing the beauty of their lives.
Putting yourself out there is never easy - but I do it because I want to be of service - to help you share what needs to be shared; your inner beauty, your emotion, your truth, your story.
I'm currently living in Black Creek, BC and I work intentionally, every day, to create the life I dream of. I live with my partner Drew and my 3 kids.
Here, we run 2 Air BnBs and are Entrepreneurs - Drew being an audio engineer/music producer and I run a womans empowerment group online and hold full moon and new moon ceremonies, in person and online.
We are holistic health junkies and love living life differently, taking it back to old school practices and rituals that are deep and purpose driven. I love the fact that my partner created an Altar for us in our living room.
I made a declaration to call in really beautiful people into my life for 2023. Humans who care about me just as much as I care about them. Humans who value integrity, being honest, and trust worthy. People who value my work and see my inner beauty. People who believe in me and root for me every step of the way.
I don't just take photos, I gather good humans with good hearts.
We all deserve to be seen, heard, loved, supported, and appreciated.
The people you work with should have beautiful values to hold your heart safe.
